Finally! Mark you calendars everyone, “Burnt Sugar (Namtan Mai)” will air on SEPTEMBER 16, replacing Chompoo Araya and Great’s lakorn for the Wednesday-Thursday time slot.
Happy, Everyone? I know many of you were anxious about the air date but they kept pushing it back. With the success of Ploy Cherman’s lakorn “Poo Yai Lee gub Nang Ma (Headman Lee and Mrs. Ma)”, I think the channel elders saw potential in Ploy Cherman to pull in high ratings. Though they are fine actors, Aff and Aum don’t generate hit lakorns. Since “Jamleuy Ruk (Defendant of Love)”, they have not had a hit lakorn together or individually.
Phuwit and Piwat (Por Thrisadee Sahawong) are brothers with the same father but have different mothers. Though they look identical, their personalities are very different.
Phuwit has been raised by Pao, his uncle and a farmer, so his personality is rough, hot-tempered and outspoken while Piwat has been raise in Bangkok and is a polite gentleman.
Piwat’s parents engages Jarulin (Ploy Cherman) to Piwat because they want her family to help their bankrupting business.
One day, Piwat gets into a car accident and becomes temporary blind. Piwat’s parents feared Jarulin’s family might not want a blind son-in-law, so they recruit Phuwit to take Piwat’s place as Jarulin’s finace while Piwat is taken to the farm to recuperate. When Piwat regains his eye sight, they would switch back.
Then a problem occurs, Phuwit develops feelings for Jarulin as they spend more time together and so does she to him.
At the farm, Piwat meets Daorerk (Vicky Sunisa), a young woman who is claiming to be Pao’s daughter. He develops for her.

Plot:
Malinee (Ploy Cherman) is a famous model living in Bangkok. One day, she receives a letter from Phoo Yai Leenawat (Por Thrisadee), the headman of Howling Dog Creek village. The letter said Madam Wan, her grandmother has passed away and left her several acres of land and her house in Howling Dog Creek village. Her grandmother had dreamed her granddaughter would leave Bangkok and come live in the country. If Malinee or Ma for short can not sell the land to just anyone. If she does not want to keep the land, she must sell it to Poo Yai Lee only.
Malinee had no intentions of going to Howling Dog Creek village until she catches her boyfriend Pradit (“Tui” Kiatkamol Latha) of cheating. To escape him, she takes a trip to Howling Dog Creek village. There, she meets a country guy but does not know it is Poo Yai Lee.
Poo Yai Lee falls in love with Ma instantly but is annoyed by city slicker personality, so he makes it a point to tease her. Like in most lakorns, Ma learns to adjust to country life and falls in love Poo Yai Lee in a comic fashion.

While filming the show Ratree Samosorn for Ch3, Ploy Cherman jokingly said she had a thing for 19 year old “Sugus” Banthawit Thragoonpanit from the lakorn “Jaew, Jai Rai lae Khun Chai Taewada (Jaew, the wick one and godly Chai)”. They were teasing her about liking younger men, so she said, “is it Sugus? He’s edible.” It was a joke, a random thing she said to lighten the mood.
Ploy has been given the nickname the new “Mae Nursery” by the media. “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea is the original title holder of that nickname. She too is infamously known for liking younger men. Ploy said it can’t be helped, she has a lot of young friends. Though she is single at the moment, she does get a lot of interest from younger men. This one time a young 18 year old asked her out, she replied: “do you want a mother, I don’t think you can handle it?”

They’re not actually participating in it, they are promoting it. Six leading nang’eks descended down an escalator wearing hot pants and 6 inch heels to promote the “Hot Pants Hot Girl Contest” for this year at Central Plaza Chaeng Wattana. When they got to the main stage, they posed sexily for the audience. The six nang’eks included: Khem Sujira,Pinky Savika, Tangmoe Pattarathida, Ploy Cherman, Bee Namthip, and Aimee Morakot Kittisara. When I first read the title of this contest, I immediately thought of Go-Go Bar girls and Soi Cowboy prostitutes. It sounds sleazy, looks sleazy, it is sleazy.
I’m still confuse as to what they are trying to promote, a sleazy beauty contest or a store? Maybe the concept for the event is “Hot Pants Hot Girl Contest 2009″. ?
The two guy promoters look kinda perverted, they look like pimps in business suits. They look uncomfortable like they rarely wear suits.
Taengmoe, Ploy (she almost flashed her girls at the event), Bee, Khem, Aimee, and Pinky.
Wasn’t it nice of Gossipstar to magnify their mishap? Khem Sujira bended over and sorta flashed her thong. Gossipstar zoomed in to show Khem’s blue undies. Sarcastically, I say so nice, it’s degrading her even more. GossipStar noted that Pinky Savika was smart, she wore white undies under her hot pants, no one saw her goodies. They wrote, “P’Aum taught her well.”
