Dew Palace: EP 2 Summary

There is something very strange at “Dew Palace”, there are several people who are aware of it and others have a suspicion of it, and then there are the newcomers who are unaware of the dangers they are in. In the first group, we have Phon (creepy servant guy) and Ralin (“Poo” Mantana Hosiri), they are aware of everything that is happening at “Dew Palace”. They might be orchestrating the whole thing.

It’s easy to read Ralin, she is envious of any woman who comes near Banleu or Tanorn. She is our nang’rai. As for Phon, he is an ambiguous character. Is he a villain or not? He is good to our nang’ek Rattikan and good to her adopted father Banleu; however, his actions so far make me question his motives. A man who lets out a boa constrictor to scare someone has psychological problems. He also warned Kathy, a new character in this epsiode to watch her back, living at Dew Palace is not as easy as it seems. He definitely knows something we don’t know.

If I was to describe this episode in one word, it would be DULL, a lot of flashbacks, poor acting from Kelly Thanapat and Poo Mantana. A lot of pointless scenes.

Lets hope for a better episode on Friday. Hopefully by then, Tanorn will learn Rattikan is not his half-sister. I feel bad for the guy, he has been eying her left and right, of course not in a “she is my sister” kinda way. I sense guilt in his eyes. I just want to tell him, dude it’s okay, she is not really your sister. Totally check her out, she is one beautiful woman.

Dew Palace: Ep 1 Summary

Hmmm….is my initial thought. I like Pinky and Tawin together; however, I can’t say I’m fond of the story. Already, I’m annoyed and I know will continue to be annoyed with “Poo” Mantana Hosiri’s character till the conclusion of this lakorn. The first episode was all over the place–ghost, mystery, secrets, grudge, Poo Mantana’s craziness.

I will continue on for this scene…

…hopefully it will be coming up real soon, like in the next episode. If not, I will stop watching.

Kwaam Lap Kong Superstar: Kwan’s parody

Oh my gosh! This is so freaking hilarious, coming up tomorrow for ep31, Bee is going to do Kwan’s hospital parody. Oh my god, they should TOTALLY interview Kwan and ask how she feels about being mock in this series.

Holy bananas, we got the Michael Jackson face mask, the peace signs, and the swarming press. Crazy! Identical to what Kwan did. It’s going down!

A couple of weeks ago, Kwan admitted herself in the hospital for some sort of vocal cord infection, which most people perceive as an excuse and a sympathy ploy to escape the media because on that same day, her co-star Poo Mantana from “Phom Ruk Roy Ardeed” filed a police report claiming that someone was prank calling her nonstop. Poo accused Kwan of being the prankster. Poo also called Kwan a stupid buffalo who talks on the phone all day and always come in late causing everyone hardship on set. OUCH!

WOW, You know Kwan is not going to work for Exact production any time soon. Exact production is burning a lot of bridges with Ch3 and Ch7 stars.

Drama on and off screen: Kwan and Poo (3)

What an actress! Just a few days ago, she was being wheeled around looking gravely ill in her orange hospital attire and a Michael Jackson health mask covering her mouth. Miraculously today, she is healed from all her ailments and was able to talk to the press about her drama with senior co-star Poo Mantana like all is fine. She appeared jubilant, unlike a person who was gravely sick a few days ago. Her voice sounded healthy even though a few days ago, she was treated for an inflamed vocal cord problem. Suspicious, I think so.

Kwan denies all the accusations against her. She has never prank called or sent harassing text messages to Poo Mantana’s phone. When her boyfriend gik (a thai slang meaning not yet a lover but in the stage of hooking up) Golf comes to visit her on set, they are never alone in her dressing room. On the occasion that she is late, Kwan blames it on school related activities.

When asked by a reporter on whether she would apologize, Kwan replied:

“Why should I apologize when I have done nothing wrong?”

Kwan told the press that she is happy happy at work. She has a great work environment and her elders support her. Is she delusional?

What’s annoying about this drama is that both parties involve refuse to give in. When asked by reporters whether she will accept Kwan’s apologize if she decides to do so, Poo Mantana refuses to answer the question. She became silent and tried to avoid the question. Poo wants Kwan to go down. Jealous and Hate? Most definitely both. If Kwan is like that on set, Poo has every right to be upset. However, she should

handled the problem professionally and kept it private.

I don’t know whether Kwan made the prank calls or annoyed Poo Mantana with text messages but I have a feeling Kwan is a total brat on set. The way she is faking her illness makes it very suspicious that she did something wrong. Oh well, everyone involve in this drama needs to let it go. Filming for the lakorn is over, let the drama on set say on set and move on with your lives. Seriously! Life is too short for petty dramas.

Drama on and off screen: Kwan and Poo (2)

Lets toss in Golf into the “Phom Ruk Roy Ardeed” drama salad mix.

Today at Central World, singer Golf was forced to clear his involvement in the Poo Mantana and Kwan Usamanee drama. Golf is the third party in the drama. He is accuse of distracting Kwan from working by garnering her full attention either by phone or by visiting her on set. He’s also accuse of causing more drama between Kwan and her other rival co-star Poo Praiya. The production team accuses Golf of starting a fight with Poo Praiya and making her cry.

Golf denies all the accusation. He admits that he talks to Kwan on the phone quite often but not to the point where Kwan is distracted from working. He also admits that he visits Kwan on set occasionally but the rumor that they would lock themselves in Kwan’s dressing room and hang out is untrue. He explains that he visits her briefly and they are never alone. Golf tells the press the he is worried about his close friend Kwan and tells the press that Kwan is a good worker. If she was a horrible worker, then the lakorn would have never been able to air.

And the thing with Poo Praiya, Golf thinks that Poo Praiya cried because it was part of a scene in the lakorn. He had no involvement in her crying.

Drama on and off screen: Kwan and Poo

“Poo” Mantana Hosiri , the actress who plays Wannaa in the currently airing lakorn “Phom Ruk Roy Ardeed”, filed a police report on July 8, accusing someone of phone harassment. A certain someone has been prank calling and constantly text messaging her phone. As a result, it has caused a misunderstanding between her husband and herself. The police track down the number and discovered that it came from the set of “Phom Ruk Roy Ardeed”. Poo Mantana believes the caller is “Kwan” Usamanee Waitayanon, her rival in both on and off screen.

Poo Mantana and Kwan have not been getting along on set because Poo accuses Kwan of being a buffalo without a brain who constantly comes to work late and causing other people hardship.

[Hey Kwan, why the Michael Jackson health mask?]

After the news broke out, Kwan conveniently enters the hospital because of a vocal cord problem. which has left her unable to speak for the next 5 days. Kwan has been having problems with her vocal cord for at least 5 days so she couldn’t have been the caller. The doctors ordered Kwan to stop using her voice for the next 5 days. Hmmm…cover up?

Tawin Yaowapalakul, pra’ek for “Phom Ruk Roy Ardeed”, confirmed that their is conflict between Kwan and Poo on and off set. Since he is close with both, he tries to stay out of their arguments.

Wow! So much drama!
-I have to say, how can a marriage fall apart over stupid prank calls and constant text messages from an unknown assailant, if there wasn’t a problem before?
-Personally, this whole thing makes Kwan and Poo look trashy. If Poo had a problem with Kwan, she should have handled it in a mature manner instead going to the media. Poo is 31 years old and Kwan is an immature 20 year old. As an adult, you should know better and let bratty kids be bratty kids. Poo should have just filed a complaint with the production team or the head of the channel instead of going public and making herself look bad.

Poo with her husband and children.
