There is a reason for this post, I wanted to mock that actress who dressed like a Christmas tree and thought she was hot. She wore this bright, BIG green dress and wore red Dorothy shoes. It was wrong in so many levels–COLOR, FORM, Style. ER! Don’t do that. Green and Red together, worst combination of colors EVER!

Oy not again, “Pook Look” Fonthip Watcharatrakul, step away from facebook.
Facebook is no longer a private entity (was it really in the first place), you post something, someone will repost it on pantip, sanook, teenee, kapook, whatever if you are a Thai celebrity.
Former Miss Universe Thailand 2010 Pook Look wrote in her facebook: “The Thai language is your native language, please speak it clearly and stop changing it too ka.”
When asked on her facebook account on who she was referring to, Pook Look replied:”where the bird flies to, it’s that one.”–I don’t know what that means and I might be completely mistranslating it too, but most people think it is a slam on the newly crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2011, ‘Fah’ Chanyason Sakhonchan. Apparently she doesn’t speak Thai clearly. I don’t know, I don’t watch beauty pageants, I have never seen Fah in action doing interviews or anything.
Fah claims it can’t possibly be her because she can speak clearly in Thai.
“I can speak clearly. I’m not sure it is me; however, I don’t think she is referring to me. It might be for someone else. With this news, I’m not upset about it because I don’t think she is talking about me. If she is talking about me, she should come to me and be frank about it.”
Update:
Maybe the media is making news out of nothing, Pook Look has come out to say she is NOT referring to Fah, she is talking about her friend Nok. “Everyone knows I’m a chatter, especially among people of the purple color (gay people) and we talk to each other like this on facebook. What I said on facebook that has cause a misunderstanding, I was not referring to Nong Fah. Really it is not. Many of asked me why I didn’t explain it through facebook. I think when people response back it is discouraging. I don’t know how to explain the misunderstanding to 60 million people. I knew I would have to answer to the press, thus I have to answer it like this on behalf of the people who have misunderstood.”

The concept for Ch7′s 2011calendar is preserving the essence of being Thai. In a span of 2 days, Ch7 dressed more than 90 of their actors and actresses in traditional Thai wear from various eras to represent their patriotic concept for their 2011 calendar.

I knew it! In lakorns, they never (rarely) make the nang’ek the biological mother if she is playing a mother to a child unless the child has been fathered by the pra’ek.
For the Dida produced lakorn “Khun Por Wan Waew (The Girly Father)” airing this Wednesday, October 13, the leading lady played by Miss Thailand Universe 2010 winner “Pook Look” Fonthip Watcharatrakul is a guardian to a young 5 year old boy played by “Nong Gino” Chayanin Taowiset. He calls her mom but technically she is just his guardian. Three days before she was scheduled to marry his father Chansak (played by Soonwut Maigun), he dies and she is given custody of Manyu to whom she adores and has known since he was a baby.
Manyu’s mother is Seeda (Pear Pormrampa), she left Manyu’s father when Manyu was still a baby for America. Before she passed away, she asked her younger brother San (Vee Veeraphap) to go find Manyu and bring him to America to inherit her Will. Seeda also asked San to take care and become father to Manyu on her behalf.
Thus the battle begins between the uncle and the stepmother who equally want to be a parent to Manyu. San believes he can do a better job at raising Manyu because he is a man–a little boy needs a father. A woman can only teach a boy so much. Ramida (Pook Look) argues she can be both mother and father to little Manyu by occasionally dressing up as a guy to which Manyu calls “Por Dap (Daddy Dap)”. Manyu knows it just a game. Underneath the manly clothes and fake mustache, Manyu knows it is Ramida or his “Mae Da (Mother Da)”. Kids at school, especially this kid named Boyd were teasing Manyu for not having a father. They said is going to turn out gay because he doesn’t have a father, so Ramida dresses up as a guy and told him she can both his father and mother.
