Love Rotation: Ep 2 Caps Part 1

There are two things you need to understand when you watch this lakorn.
One, you need to separate reality from fiction. Lakorns don’t completely represent Thai culture or law.
Two, lakorns is a soap opera and an exaggeration of the truth. Things that happen in lakorns do not necessarily happen in ‘real’ ife.

If a man kidnaps a woman in Thailand, he will be arrested. It has nothing to do with culture. Thot’s behavior is not accepted in the real world Thailand.

Take this lakorn for what it is, it’s pure entertainment. Nothing more.

Love Rotation: EP 1 Caps Part 2

This series is downright crazy, I do feel bad for Pom (Pulpat), remember the scene where he tried to walk away from a fight with Nee (Tarn) and she inserted her finger into her mouth to start a gag reflex. He walks out, sees Thot. Thot gives him, ‘you better go back and take care of my sister or else I’m gonna beat the living crap outta ya’ look. Poor Pom, he was scared. He looked down and went back to Nee to pat her back. Crazy! I “heart-heart” his lazy pat on the back, look at his face, he was not please.

Nee is crazy! Like I said earlier, you should have used a condom Pom.

Love Rotation: EP 1 Caps Part 1

[Pulpat getting slapped by Pinky]

Wow, is all I have to say. I don’t think they intentionally tried to be funny but I found this lakorn to be very hilarious. It was so intense you had to laugh.

I do love Pulpat Attapanyapol and Pinky Savika’s scenes, I prefer him more than Weir, he has this edgy sensitive guy look going for him. I do like it a lot. To me, Pinky has more chemistry with Pulpat than she does with Weir. Whatever combination, this lakorn works.

The first episode was a little extreme but nonetheless very enjoyable. My mouth literally dropped at the end, when Thot (Weir) went to Bow’s house and told her parents, he ‘rawr’ her and plan to take responsibility for it. What the???? Thank gosh, her father punched him. Like who does that? HAHA.

Thot:“We met at a pub by chance, that night we drink alcohol and became very drunk. I couldn’t control myself so I became aggressive wit her.”-–Dude, you just admitted you ‘rawr’ her, I believe you can go to jail for that. Don’t worry guys, he was lying, he just wanted to marry her.

I think overall Thot is a very reasonable guy but matters involving his sister Nee (Tarn Kanya), he can’t think clearly, which is understandable since he lies to him continuously. Nee is just downright crazy, I have never seen a more possessive lakorn character than Nee, she is so clingy it is borderline unbearable to watch.

On with the caps….

Pinky and Weir’s lakorn “Love Rotation” almost done filming

That was quick. Back in late March, they started filming, now it’s almost done. According to Pinky Savika her lakorn “Wong Wien Hua Jai (Love Rotation)” will wrap up within a month and a half or by the end of July. I am assuming, by early fall, it will air. Good? It is not a long wait. So good.

This lakorn is lead by 4 main characters: Tarn Karnya as Weir Sukollawat’s younger sister, Pulpat Attapanyapol as Pinky’s boyfriend.

While Pinky is away studying abroad, Pulpat impregnates Tarn and is force to marry her. When Pinky returns to Thailand, Weir felt Pinky was a threat to Tarn and Pulpat’s marriage. He deceives Pinky and force her into marriage to keep an eye on her. Yes, a whole lot mess and a lot of couple switching.

Who is Chalee Rachasena?

Actually, I should ask who is Pulpat Attapanyapol (พูลภัทร อรรถปัญญาพล), the actor who plays Chalee Rachasena in “Silamanee”? After searching for 10 minutes, I found zip zap nothing.

No age. No birthday. He’s 20 years old. No place of birth. Who is this guy? The only thing I know about him is that he worked as a model before acting in “Silamanee”. He’s 20 years old and worked as a model before acting.

Here he is in IMAGE magazine for the May 2008 issue. The dog on the shoulder picture reminds me of the Mexican movie “Amores Perros (Love’s a Bitch)” with Gael Garcia Barnal. Whenever you get the chance, I recommend you watch this movie. It’s crazy…falling in love with your brother’s girlfriend, intense sex scene, bloody dog fights, a major car accident that alters the lives of all the main characters. Check it out, you might like it. Read about it at Wiki.

Yep, I totally went off track. So back to Pulpat, he stands out in “Silamanee” and even overshadows veteran actor Paul Pattarapol who stars as pra’ek.

Pulpat Attapanyapol and costar “Cream” Premsinee Rattanasopha

They are the side pra’nangs. Her character Susie likes Chalee while Chalee likes Nam, her half-sister. Can we say love triangle? In the end, Chalee realizes that Susie is the one for him and loses interest in Nam.

I like this pair, especially the hair clip scene in ep. 2. I thought it was very cute.

Let me down the scene for you. Susie and Chalee are at a party. She drops her cute little purple/pink flower hair clip and he finds it.

He runs up to her, “I think this is your hair clip. I picked it up and figured it might be yours.”

He offers to put it back on for her. HAHA. Cute. She smiles and blushes a little because she likes the dude.

You have to take note that hair clip he found on the floor could have been anyones, but Chalee knew right away that it belonged to Susie. To me, it means that he unconsciously “notices” her. He unconsciously likes her. To take notice of an acute hair accessory, that’s a pretty intense love connect. Of course, I’m taking nonsense and making a big deal over nothing.
