Rita, when she was asked by reporters about her relationship with Tye Nattapol and how Tye made a pack with reporters that by the end of his monkhood he would give an answer as to whether Rita and him are dating:“I know nothing of this, since he came out of the monkhood, I have not seen him. Yes, I know he came out of the monkhood; however, I have not talk or met up with him since. When he was ordained, I did go give alms to him during his midday meal; but I’ve never “duk bot”. It’s alright, there is nothing. We are just friends.”

Oh Tye, you have been rejected.

This is the act of “duk bot”–it is the act of presenting food to a monk or Buddhist priest. It’s a daily morning routine.

Tye Nattapol and Rita Jensen are a couple. Not really, they are just talking.

Tye Nattapol who recently finished his stint at the monastery revealed he is in a very close relationship with Rita Jensen, one of Ch3′s top actresses. “We are as close as can be.” He said. “I don’t want to use the term girlfriend and boyfriend just yet. We don’t have anything that would make us girlfriend and boyfriend. We are just close friends.” He continued

Tye, then, went off into a tangent saying he was a little worried it might be one-sided–he likes her, she doesn’t like him. In plain English, Tye is in the pursuit of Rita. He’s ready for a relationship with her. At this point, it is up to Rita to decide.

They have been ‘talking’ for a long time now. Just make it official already.

Did they kiss? I don’t know. They were sighted kissing in an elevator at the Emporium, which Rita vehemently denies,”it’s not true, completely untrue, honestly. It’s true we went to the Emporium together and also went up the lift (elevator) together, but saying we did that, that would be improbable. Possibly people saw us close together and started writing this and that. It’s really untrue.” She told reporters.

Since their lakorn “Soosan Poodaesuan (Poodaesuan’s graveyard)” recently went on air, Rita suspects “love promotion” at play. Though she denies a love relationship with Tye, she does admit they are “close” friends. We’re just friends, she kept repeating. I don’t know man. I think it might be more to it. Thai reporters are like expert detectives, it’s amazing what they can find out. I have a feeling reporters weren’t buying her explanation. One of their questions was: “can you summarize again your relationship with Tye?” To me, they sounded dissatisfied. But what do I know.

This whole interview was conducted at the blessing/opening ceremony of Rita and Andrew Gregson’s lakorn “Mongkut Saeng Jan (The Moonlight Crown)”, which starts filming this month. In the lakorn, Rita’s character is a princess who is forced to marry Andrew, a musician and the nephew of her enemy.
