Peemai refuses to break up with Pah Tob

Look at that, she has lost her damn mind. Refusing to break up with her lesbian sugar mama even though that sugar mama has moved on. Does the name ‘Ja’ ring a bell? It should, it’s your lesbian sugar mama’s possible new girlfriend.

Reporters went to see Peemai at the set of her latest lakorn project: “Wayupak Montra (Wayupak’s Enchantment)” in Wang Nam Khiew in the northern province of Nakhon Ratchasima province. Peemai told reporters she was the one who was wrong and is trying to make amends with her lesbian sugar mama. They are still together and living in the same house according to Peemai.

“I have to tell you first that there is a big gap between our ages. The act of getting to know each other, knowing our temperaments, our moods, was very little. When there is a problem, it takes time to reconcile. There is 20 years between us. Also you have to consider my stubbornness and waywardness. She is an elder who speaks short, easily, and dry to understand. But I’m too young to understand. We have had disagreements because of our age for a long time now. We have broken up like this often. At the beginning, I would break up with her. Then later, she would break up with me. Because of my waywardness, she is fed with it. Up to this day, it has reached a point. The problem has build up, she has become dumbstruck by it. She just says, ‘er-er-er’.  The problem derived from me. I couldn’t separate my personal problems and my work life. I was having a lot of problems with Pah Tob, which lead to problems with other elders. I have disappointed the people who love me. Which includes P’Tob, who thinks–why can’t I grow up already?”

Peema knows she was wrong and does not want to break up with Pah Tob. “I refuse to break up. I know I was wrong. I want to apologize to all the elders and especially to Pah Tob’s family, who has given me their trust. They have trusted me greatly and I have disappointed them. The disappointment extends to my family too.  My father and mother is also disappointed in me. I think that since I have done wrong, I need to fix it, if they give me a chance.”

According to Pah Tob, they have broken up for 1 month now, Peemai says it is not true at all. They are still together, living in the same house.

“We have not broken up yet. It’s just separation between my mother’s house and other places. If we were together, we would fight everyday. I can be very intense. I refuse to back down. She is tired of talking. We have different viewpoints. We are very different too.”

Peemai doesn’t consider herself single and Pah Tob is not single either. That “Ja” girl was said out of spite according to Peemai, Ja doesn’t exist.

“Our relationship right now would make me and Pah Tob both not single. We are in the midst of reconciling, to prove to the elders that we can get better.”

Peemai was hurt when Pah Tob publicly broke up with her.

“I was hurt, but I deserved it. The truth is, she has ask for a break up for a long time now.”

I think I’m bored now, it was a long interview, an interview that I didn’t care for. They should break up already because their lesbian drama is really getting on my last nerves OR stay together without drama. I support both.

Because she wouldn’t work

I have always found their relationship disturbing and gross. Not because it was a lesbian relationship. You all know I don’t have a problem with that. It was gross because it was insincere, forced, a stunt for publicity. When she/he tried to kiss Peemai, it just seem like it was force, like she felt embarrassed to be doing this–you can tell a lot of from body language. She would give a awkward smile (like ew), while her lesbian sugar mama Pah Tob was more than happy to be affectionate in public. Also, Pah Tob, I’m sure is a nice lesbian lady, but she looked like a fudged up human raisin. The looks department was not her friend. Yes, I’m vain and shallow. In this case, it can’t be helped.

So actress/sexy model “Peemai” Sumonrat Wattanaselarat has been dumped by her lesbian sugar mama “Pah Tob” Patinya Kuantrakul because she was lazy.

Because of Peemai, “Pah Tob” has said she will not marry again: “we have broken krap, I probably will not marry again. We had problems with our age, which made us think differently, plan our futures differently. We have tried to work things out for a long time now, but we couldn’t.”

The reason why, Pah Tob couldn’t handle Peemai’s laziness regarding work.

“Money was not the reason at all. It had more to do with personal turmoil that is why she  has abandoned all of her work.  Her state right now is even worst because she has been fired. She got fired because she DID it herself (raised voice). That is another reason why I’m angry at her. It is the main reason.”

Pah Tob has scolded Peemai for not going to work and they have fought intensely. Pah Tob has said, the more she yelled at Peemai, the more Peemai became defiant and refused to go to work. Pah Tob apologized to the lakorn crew for Peemai’s lack of work ethics.

“I truly apologize, I have tried to help. The reason she is like this, is NOT because of chemicals or drugs, it’s because she is addicted to me krap.” WTF? Seriously, she said that. It’s in the video clip near the end, she literally said that.

Pah Tob has moved on and is pursuing her ex-girlfriend ‘Ja’. She moved on fast.

Peemai has been acting weird for the past 2 weeks, she has not been going to work and have completely turned off her phone. There is a panic at the set of her latest lakorn for Ch3: “Suay, Rerd, Chert, lae Soht (I’m Pretty, I’m Prefect, and Single)” because they are still filming. With Peemai missing, they had to cut out her character and add two more scenes to resolve the plot issue.  Her sitcom “Poo Gong Ja Sanae (Charming Captain)” had to film around her scenes.

A video clip of Pah Tob talking about her break up with Peemai:

Some Thai netizens at Pantip found Pah Tob’s statement odd: “I have never heard of a wealthy person dumping their wife because she refused to work. Mostly they begged them to just stay at home and do nothing. I’m baffled by Pah Tob.”

A popular comment at Manager where this news was covered:

“When he was courting her, he gave her everything, which made her personality turn bad. It became a habit.

One day he became bored and  turned his head away. I can say this about toms (lesbians), they are different from  most men. Most men know responsibilities. They know when they marry, what they will face and what they will have to lose. Don’t think about the minority of men. To most men and women, marriage is important.”

A love torn apart by murder

Well, isn’t this complicated. As I read the synopsis of “Aom” Piyada Akarasene’s latest lakorn with Pong Nawat, “Proong Nee Gor Ruk Ter (Tomorrow, I’ll still love you)”, I begin to wonder how are they gonna get back together. This definitely won’t be a ‘happily ever after’ type of lakorn.

At the beginning, Pong and Aom are lovers, they are about to get marry. Then tragedy strikes. Pong’s older sister played by Pin Kejmanee murders Aom’s older sister because she believes Aom’s sister and her husband played by James Ruengsak are having an affair. Complicated stuff. Naturally, after the killing, Pong and Aom break up.

Being me and having a strong relationship with my older brother, I don’t think I can handle associating myself with family members of the person who murdered my brother, no matter how ‘nice’ they are. It would be too emotionally draining. There is an intense/immense loyalty between two people who have grown up together, who have molded each other, who have fought and defended each other, and who are genetically linked. The sibling bond between my brother and I is very strong, his murder would be unforgivable. With that said, how will Aom and Pong’s relationship ever work out? If I was Aom’s character, I don’t think I can do it.

This lakorn will also have a gay love story between Oh Anuchit and “Fluke”  Pachara Thammon aka Fluke: the Star 5. Interesting. Though both claim to be heterosexuals, both are believed to be gay by the Thai media. Oh Anuchit has admitted to having a girlfriend but still he can’t shake off the gay rumors. As for Fluke, he just looks like a girl and was raised by a man who looks like a woman. Bkkdreamer has more on that here. Because some people can’t separate lakorn from reality, Oh and Fluke will definitely be swarmed with ‘are you gay’ questions when this lakorn airs.

“Prajan See Roong (The Rainbow Moon)” pictures

There are whole lot of pictures too. All photos are from the Ch3 website, I’ll post a few here.

“Prajan See Roong (The Rainbow Moon)” stars singer Bie Sukrit and “Aff” Taksaorn Paksukcharean as pra’nangs and “Ace” Worarit Vaijiaranai as the guy antagonist. At the beginning, Ace is Aff’s love interest, then she comes to realize he is not as he appears; there is part where he tries to rape her. Not a great guy and that is why she starts to fall for Bie, her friend since college who has always loved her.

[Ace drugged Aff and Bie saved her]

There are a lot of elements that make “Prajan See Roong (The Rainbow Moon)” a typical lakorn–love squares, obnoxious nang’rai (girl villains), long lost mother reappearing, memory lost, and a rapist guy antagonist with too much money in his bank accounts. Then, there is the thing that makes “Prajan See Roong” stand out, it’s a gay themed lakorn. No, Bie is not portraying a confuse gay man in this lakorn, the man who plays his father is. It’s interesting.

Gays in lakorns exist for comic relief, they are the jokers, the cheap laughs, rarely are they the themed or focus character in the series. This is something different.

Another theme for this lakorn is the bond between a father and son who are not biologically related. It’s a story about a transgender man who morphed himself to a heterosexual man to raise a child who is not his own because society dictates him to do so. Complicated, right? Another question is this, is that even possible? I been seeing a trend in Thailand, especially in movies that homosexuality is influenced by a person’s environment. Ananda Everingham’s movie “Me…myself” and teen gay comedy “Puppy Love” starring Wattaporn Lamsinthorn, Pongpisut Pew-Orn, and Petchthai Wongkamlao raised the question that possibly homosexuality is influenced by experiences in one’s life and can be changed. I can’t say I buy into it.
