Love Rotation: EP 1 Caps Part 1

[Pulpat getting slapped by Pinky]

Wow, is all I have to say. I don’t think they intentionally tried to be funny but I found this lakorn to be very hilarious. It was so intense you had to laugh.

I do love Pulpat Attapanyapol and Pinky Savika’s scenes, I prefer him more than Weir, he has this edgy sensitive guy look going for him. I do like it a lot. To me, Pinky has more chemistry with Pulpat than she does with Weir. Whatever combination, this lakorn works.

The first episode was a little extreme but nonetheless very enjoyable. My mouth literally dropped at the end, when Thot (Weir) went to Bow’s house and told her parents, he ‘rawr’ her and plan to take responsibility for it. What the???? Thank gosh, her father punched him. Like who does that? HAHA.

Thot:“We met at a pub by chance, that night we drink alcohol and became very drunk. I couldn’t control myself so I became aggressive wit her.”-–Dude, you just admitted you ‘rawr’ her, I believe you can go to jail for that. Don’t worry guys, he was lying, he just wanted to marry her.

I think overall Thot is a very reasonable guy but matters involving his sister Nee (Tarn Kanya), he can’t think clearly, which is understandable since he lies to him continuously. Nee is just downright crazy, I have never seen a more possessive lakorn character than Nee, she is so clingy it is borderline unbearable to watch.

On with the caps….

Pinky and Weir’s lakorn “Love Rotation” almost done filming

That was quick. Back in late March, they started filming, now it’s almost done. According to Pinky Savika her lakorn “Wong Wien Hua Jai (Love Rotation)” will wrap up within a month and a half or by the end of July. I am assuming, by early fall, it will air. Good? It is not a long wait. So good.

This lakorn is lead by 4 main characters: Tarn Karnya as Weir Sukollawat’s younger sister, Pulpat Attapanyapol as Pinky’s boyfriend.

While Pinky is away studying abroad, Pulpat impregnates Tarn and is force to marry her. When Pinky returns to Thailand, Weir felt Pinky was a threat to Tarn and Pulpat’s marriage. He deceives Pinky and force her into marriage to keep an eye on her. Yes, a whole lot mess and a lot of couple switching.

Sapai Glai Peun Tiang: coming soon

They are saying it will air on April 20, 2009 after Pat and Film’s lakorn, “Mon Ruk Kao Dtom Mud (Love spell of Steamed Sticky Rice Pouches with Filling)”, roughly 2.5 weeks from now. It’s a romance/comedy starring Anne Thongprasom and Chakrit Yamnam, their first time being paired.

In Sapai Glai Peun Tiang (Underdeveloped Daughter-in-law)”, Anne is a hot-heated cop in the Crime Suppression Division in Bangkok, her name is Lalin. Her family lives in Roi Et province. When she returns home to participate in a festival, she learns her seamstress sister Areeya (Jane Jensuda) was impregnated by guy from Bangkok. The family and especially Lalin wants this wannabe deadbeat daddy to take responsibility for his actions. The only problem, they don’t know who he is. Areeya refuses to disclose his identity.

The thing is this, Areeya (Jane Jensuda) has already asked the father of her child to take responsibility and even begged his mother for assistance. What she received was embarrassment, the future paternal grandmother to her child insulted her and refused to let her son take responsibility for Areeya’s baby. From that point on, Areeya decides to give up on the matter.

Getting no information from her sister, Lalin secretly ransacked through her sister’s belongings and finds evidence that a guy named Jormtup (Chakrit Yamnam) might be the father. Lalin angrily drives to Bangkok to confront Jormtup, a hotel heir. She rudely interrupts his conference and demanded he take responsibility for impregnating her sister. Jormtup is a little baffled, he didn’t impregnate anyone. They argue for a bit until Jormtup ordered hotel security guards to drag her away.

Later that night, he tells his no-good, playboy older brother Jormphon (Num Gunchai) that some weird abrasive woman charged into his hotel conference and accused him of being the father of her sister’s baby. Jormtup finds this amusing while Jormphon is a little worried, he confides to his younger brother that he is the culprit, the baby daddy. Being a good guy, he tells his older brother he will keep this secret if Jormphon reforms and starts helping him out at the hotel.

For several days and weeks, Lalin causes hell for Jormtup (Charit Yamnam) at work and personally in order to convince him to come back with her to Roi Et. He doesn’t do anything.

One day, Lalin meets up with Khun Ying Lerlak ( Jintara Sugapat), JJormtup and Jormphon’s mother, a very conceited Hi-So woman. Lalin begs for her assistance, Khun Ying Lerlak rudely refuses and insulted her. The thought of having one her son’s marry a country bumpkin was beyond her. Jormtup overhears their conversations and knows he must resolve this issue where both parties are satisfied.

He runs after Lalin after she talked to his mother and offered her money. Yes, he will take responsibility for Areeya, but only financially. This is the best he can do, he tells her. Infuriated, Lalin doesn’t accept his offer. She later decides to resolve the issue, caveman style, she drugs and beats Jormtup up and takes him back to Roi Et. HAHA. GOOD TIMES!

She introduces Jormtup to her sister and Opps! Wrong guy. Feeling bad for mistakingly causing hell to the wrong guy, Lalin sincerely apologizes to Jormtup. He was fine with it. He wasn’t angry at all, her boldness and craziness intrigued him. The more he met her the more he liked her. How can a woman be so cute and yet so vexing at the same time, he thought to himself.

Soon after, Khun Ying Lerlak gets Lalin suspended from work as a cop and she goes back to Roi Et to stay with her family. Jormtup felt regretful that his mother wrongfully got Lalin suspended from work, he visits her often at Roi Et and they became friends. Well, he is courting her and she is indifferent to the whole situation.

Still wanting revenge for the people who dishonored her sister’s reputation, she decides to drug Jormtup and set up a scene to make it seem like they had “relations”. Lalin tells Jormtup he must take responsibility for her, he gleefully accepts. He was like “Okay” in a giddy manner, he likes her, so it wasn’t a big problem.

They marry, though Khun Ying Lerlak (Jintara Sugapat) absolutely disapproves, Lalin moves into Jormtup’s family home and the war between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law begins.

This is a summary of the Thai summary which was like 2 pages long and loaded with details, which I thought was way too much. I hate reading lakorn summaries, they give out too many details. All I want is a paragraph summary to understand the story, not the whole story itself. Sometimes they can be like 3-4 pages. Dude, way too long.

It’s seems like a fun lakorn, Anne is going to be absolutely crazy and irrational, she acts before she thinks and that will get her into trouble.

Chakrit’s Jormtup likes his woman crazy.
