Next week is the Songkran holiday–a Thai, Lao, and Cambodian New’s Year. The Songkran festival is a holiday representing change, cleansing oneself for the new year by getting soaked by water guns and buckets of water. It’s a fun time for rest and celebration. Now lets take a look at what some Thai celebrities have plan for their Songkran holiday.
I’m quite impressed with the guests at Mos and Game’s wedding, they came out looking like stars instead of people who casually got out of bed and dressed informally to a wedding. A few did but not many like other celebrity weddings. They deserve a pat on the back.
Nang’ek from “Ka Khong Khon (A person’s Value)” on Ch7, Noon Woranuch might be taking a break from the industry to focus on starting a family with her husband ‘Todd’ Piti Bhirombhakdi.
Reporters asked Noon about it and she told them, they were not ready yet because of her work and also added they will start trying soon after her last lakorn which will start filming in May.
“About producing an heir, not yet. I’m still preparing to film a new lakorn. I have talked to Todd already, I’m still acting in lakorns, but it might be my last. If you asked if he was sulking, he wasn’t. I think that in regards to having a family, it’s an issue between two people who will have to talk about it. It is NOT an issue of one person. But we are happy with our lives right now. I’m still happy living my life like this, it’s okay.”
The feedback from fans for “Ka Khong Khon (A person’s Value)” has been positive and Noon thanked the viewers and her fans for being supportive.
“The feedback for the lakorn “Ka Khong Khon (A person’s Value)” has been very positive. I have to thank the fans, I have been away for quite awhile, 7-8 months. I have been away for a long time. The crew members of Exact did show me topics about our lakorn on Facebook, twitter, and Pantip. I want to thank everyone for keeping up with our lakorn. Like normal there has been praises and criticisms, but we, the production members, are willing to listen to them. Whenever anyone talks about our lakorn, it makes me happy.”
There was a rumor that Noon came home with bruises all over her body from portraying the violent argument scene with Pong in their lakorn “Ka Khong Khon” and her husband Todd was not too happy about it. Reporters wanted to know, is this rumor true. Noon laughed and answered, it was true. “(laughs) It’s true, P’Pong was…”
Reporters interjected and asked, “he was very aggressive?”
Noon:”Er, I don’t want to say it like that. It’s a scene of emotions, it’s a normal thing ka because I had slapped him several times already. It’s normal he would get me back. This love scene is like any other love scene. Also, we did not kiss for real. However, there were kisses on the cheek, you have to have that. It’s just work.”
And I think her husband understands that is what she was trying to imply.
Oh My GOSH, Bangkok burns, Noon and Todd wed. Zen shopping center was burned down by ‘red shirt’ protesters after their leaders surrendered and were arrested yesterday afternoon Thailand time. Central World shopping center was burned down, Ch3 offices were attacked. No lakorns airing today on Ch3.
Reporting from the Associated Press about Ch3:
“Protesters had already turned their rage on the local media, which they have accused of pro-government coverage. They attacked the offices of state-run Channel 3, setting fire to cars outside and puncturing water pipes that flooded the building.
“At Channel 3 need urgent help from police, soldiers!!!” tweeted news anchor Patcharasri Benjamasa. “News cars were smashed and they are about to invade the building.”
Noon and Todd did not want to cancel the second part to their wedding because they have been planning it for over a year. It was meant to be a big wedding, considering the political circumstances, they understand it will be rushed because of the curfew and not all their guests will attend.
“I’m very concern about today’s situation, especially regarding our wedding guests and the mass media. I am concern about the safety of everyone. For that reason, those who could not attend and fear that Noon and I will not understand. We would like to tell them, we understand it WELL. Today, we will try to make everything go as fast as possible. The truth is we have been planning this event for over a year and have been following the news. Our elders have been preparing the security aspect of the wedding since the beginning,” said Todd.
Someone has been noted saying this is like 9/11 in Bangkok. It looks very familiar-smoke, fire, brings back memories.
Truly, it is the year to be ordained. So many people have been doing so, I don’t think I can keep up anymore. Roughly 2 weeks ago, Khun ‘Boy’ Takolkait Weerawan (Exact head honcho) was ordained, I saw Puri Hiranpruk and Tang Saksit participating in the parade to the main temple hall. The week before that, singer Tae Sattawat Sethakorn was ordained. Today, it is ‘Todd’ Piti Bhirombhakdi (Noon Woranuch’s fiance)’s turn. Being ordained is a religious rite of passage some Buddhist men choose to go through to cleanse their soul and pay respect to their elders. It’s an important occasion, one that will make mothers cry and both parents feel honored and proud.
Todd was ordained at the Saket Temple (Wat Saket) by the abbot Somdet Kiaw; he was given the monk nickname of ‘Pitithammo’, meaning a person who is delighted to follow the teachings of Dharma. He will be ordained for 15 days, ending on November 23, 2009. You can watch an interview with Noon at the temple here. Noon said she will try to give food offerings to Todd everyday if she is free. But she will have to check her schedule for when he goes up to Chiang-Rai.
It’s been going on for a while now, well from where I read the news. I remember a few months ago, there was a heated discussion at Teenee’s Noon Woranuch’s post about her being the downfall of Kade Tarnthup. They broke up a few years ago, yet their break-up is still the topic of discussion among crazy fans. I don’t understand why.
Now, Noon Woranuch is getting married to her long-time boyfriend ‘Todd’ Piti Bhirombhakdi, heir to Singha Beer. Everything is set in motion. I know, another leading lady off the singles market.Todd has sent his elders to ask for Noon’s hand in marriage, the dowry has been discussed, and now they are waiting for a ‘lucky’ day to wed. Both have revealed it will be real soon.
Her best friends in the industry, “Ning”Panita Pattanahiran and “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea only want to discuss wedding fabrics with her, she had to tell them, the date is not set. Lets wait until the date is set, then they can discuss fabrics, she told them.
I think it’s super she is getting married, others do not. Some are annoyed or maybe just envious. Some comments left at Manager about Noon’s upcoming nuptials were not so congratulatory, they were rather rude and very mean-spirited.
First, a positive comment:
“A beautiful person can choose, a rich person can choose. I’m not beautiful, I don’t have a lot of options. He is not rich, he doesn’t have a lot of options. A person who is not beautiful and a person who is not rich, they chose each other. After many years, he can become richer. I am embarrassed that I’m not beautiful, I want to be beautiful too. He hugs and tells me, though you not beautiful in your eyes or anyone else, you are beautiful in my eyes. No matter how many religious alms you do, you can’t buy luck in this life.”
The comment was written by a person who wrote this as her screen name:”I want to congratulate this happy couple, have good luck, and be very happy.”
Now on to a negative comment, written in English by ‘Let it be’:
“compare with the other couple like tik&peach,tik he has a good sence to choose the real one not the fake one that cover with all plastic and silicone and also low class too…for me if i was tod,i rather choose the girl with the same class with high education and smart and nature look and good looking so i don’t know he smart or stupid that he choose this girl that full of silicon and plastic.” He or she wrote something in Thai too but I didn’t understand it.

There were several comments implying Todd is an idiot for picking a plastic Barbie like Noon Woranuch.
Though many were trashing Noon about her plastic surgeries, one person went on a different route. He or she noted that Noon Woranuch is not natural in terms of her personality. She is trying to hard. “Isn’t it tiring to be perfect all the time,” the person questioned. The person is happy for Noon and wished her well on her upcoming nuptials but wished Noon would be more natural.

If you think you can take this, you can go ahead and marry him. But if you think it won’t affect your self esteem if he has another wife in the near future that’s fine.
