The Guests at Aff and Songkran’s wedding part 2

PhotobucketPhotobucket

She wore 3 dresses for her wedding part 2, one for the press conference, one for the reception, and other for the after party.

Their press conference interview:
Aff:’I am excited, more excited than the event at Khao Yai, many people came.’

Songkran:’ I came for the standby since this morning, I became excited just a half an hour ago.’

Reporters:’Why?’

Songkran:’Because of the event and because my bride is very beautiful.’

Everyone awes.

Aff:’Normally he doesn’t compliment na.’–haha

Reporters: ‘You have been living together for a period now, how is it going?’

Aff:’We have been living together for one week now, we haven’t been able to spend time together because we had to prepare for the wedding, this morning, we were still passing out the invitations, we were still preparing for the wedding. We have not gotten the chance to rest. We have been living together, but I haven’t been able to perform my duties, [I don't know how to translate this part without making a mistake, so I have decided to not do it]. After this, I will put my best effort into it.’

Aff feels more closed to her Songkran after the wedding, more warmth.

Songkran: ‘It’s good, you get to live with someone and now I have a person who can make me breakfast every morning.’

She smacks him lightly and says, ‘he is being sarcastic.’

Reporters:’Have you tasted her cooking?’

Songkran jokingly:’I have. In the morning, Aff tries to make me something to eat. She is very good at it!!! (everyone laughs). She can make ready-made Chinese vermicelli not be delicious.’

Aff laughing:’The first breakfast I made for him was cereal with milk and he complained it was too sweet. The next morning, Kran he made fried eggs to tell me this is breakfast. Kran made it for me because he is good at cooking. Just wait a bit, I will improve.’

The couple plans to honeymoon in Europe, a gift from Aff’s father.

As for their plans for the future, Songkran has been preparing for it–since before the wedding. He knows he has to work hard to care for Aff and his future kids. Up to 3 if you are curious. Songkran wants a boy for their first born–just to have a boy watch over his younger siblings. Aff doesn’t mind how many, it’s up to Songkran, two is good enough for her as long as they are good kids and listen well.

Aff will continue to work in the entertainment industry and will work with Songkran with managing his Bonanza resort. Aff wants to do both, being an actress and living her life and helping Songkran at Khao Yai.

Their vows to each other:

Songkran:’Every other couple has vows for each other, we are strange and don’t have vows for one another. But whatever Aff wants, anything that I can do, I will do it. You don’t have to worry about that.’

Aff:’I just want him to be narak (sweet) to me and my family forever, that is all I want.’

A reporter asked after marriage, most husbands are afraid of their wives, will you (Songkran) be like that?

Songkran’s response:’A little, when she is angry she can complain for 3-4 hours without stopping. If they make one big outcry, it’s easier. She is able to grumble for a long time, like a rapper.’

Boy Pakorn is the most huggable guy for Sudsapda magazine

Top: Kao, Ter, Nadech, and Pong. Bottom: Pope, Boy, Dome, and Mark

By popular vote for Sudsapda magazine at their website and facebook account, the ranking of the 20 most huggable Thai guys of 2011. ‘Roi Marn (Trace of the Devil)’ star Boy Pakorn is ranked number 1 and ‘Ter’ Chantavit Dhanasevi came in last. I would agree, Boy did give one of the best hug and confession scene in  lakorn history in Roi Marn episode 13. It’s one of those scenes, you’ll remember for a long time.

Best and Worst dressed at the Nataraja Awards 2011

There is a reason for this post, I wanted to mock that actress who dressed like a Christmas tree and thought she was hot. She wore this bright, BIG green dress and wore red Dorothy shoes. It was wrong in so many levels–COLOR, FORM, Style. ER! Don’t do that. Green and Red together, worst combination of colors EVER!

2nd Annual Nataraja Awards 2011

The Nataraja Awards 2011 just finished airing a few hours ago on Ch5. Everyone looked great, BEAUTIFUL. No one was lip-synching when they had to sing the nominated best lakorn songs. Singers from the Star franchise, KPN franchise, and selected AF kids were grouped together to sing the songs. It was a live performance that bedazzled me, it was like a mini concert with all these talented young Thai singers.  I was blown away.

The duet between Gam and Patcha for the song “Pler Ruk Mot Jai (Absent-minded Love)” from the lakorn “Dok Ruk Rim Tang (Roadside Love Flower)” was one of the highlights of the show.

Though the show was beautifully orchestrated, it was a little off , Ploy Chermarn was not there to accept her Best Actress award for the lakorn ‘Rabam Duang Dao (The Star Dance)’, Ken Theeradeth had to awkwardly accept the award on her behalf. Ken presented the nominees and named the winner Ploy Chermarn but she never came up. There was an odd pause where Ken stood to the side waiting for Ploy to come up. Then he realizes she is not coming, so he had to accept the award on her behalf with a chuckle.  There is a whole discussion about this at Pantip. The first annual Nataraja Awards was amazing–this year,  some complained it lacked ‘ dara spirit’ because some of the nominees did not attend. ‘Chai’ Chatayodom Hiranyatsathiti and Ploy Chermarn won but did  not attend. “Aff” Taksaorn Paksukcharean and “Aum” Patcharapa Chaichuea who were nominated in the Best Actress category did not attend, it was quite noticeable too. For the Best Supporting Actor award, only one nominee was present, Puri Hiranpruk. It was really off.

Ken accepting Ploy’s award starts around the 5:20 time mark.

Winners in the lakorn category:

Best song: “Hai Ruk Dern Tang Mah Jer Gan (Let love met)” from the 4 Hearts of Khun Kao Yai Ch3

Two gets a MV

Two? Do you mean the number 2? No, the Thai singer, his name is Two Popetorn Soonthornyanakij from Sony Music. He has a new single out, titled “please don’t feel sorry for me (Prot Yaa Maa Songsan, โปรดอย่ามาสงสาร)”. This song is my current addiction, the first time I heard it (roughly 2 weeks ago), I had it on instant replay for the whole day, it was that good. The song narrates a failed relationship, he wants her back, and she still calls him because she feels pity and regret. However, he doesn’t want her pity, if she is not coming back, he wants to move on.

MV

Don’t get me wrong I love the song; however, seeing him in the MV, he doesn’t give me the ‘wow’ factor. The video is average, the performance in it is average. I have seen his LIVE performances on youtube, there is something missing there also.

I fear the quality of the song comes from studio magic rather than the singer himself ,now that is troubling. Then again, I could be totally off base, the video quality on youtube were downright awful.

Actress Ice Apissada is the MV nang’ek.
