Introducing Tee, Vill’s “friend”

I’ve seen these pictures countless times and I seriously thought it was her brother. They look alike.

Nope, this is 24 year old Tee Wanichanantathada, an up and coming young actor from Ch7, he is currently being romantically linked to Vill Wannoros, our nang’ek from “Gaew Lom Phet.”

Tee and Vill attend the same university and have modeled together, Vill says he is just like a family member to her and nothing more. She is very close to him because her mother adores him and on occasion they have dinner together. Nice, dude is smart! Play nice with the mother to get to the daughter.

Reporter:“Does Tee have an opportunity with you?”

Vill:“I don’t know yet, right now we are just talking, we are concern about each other like people who are in the same family.”

Basically, it’s a “YES”. When they start using the “Pee Nong (relative/family)” term, it means they will hook up. That’s my prediction.

Tee comes from the same background as Vill, he is also a model turned Music Video pra’nang and now a contract actor for a channel. Back in 2007, he won “The Most Street Smart Bachelor By Giordano” in the annual Cleo’s Most Eligible Bachelors competition. Most recently he starred in Punch’s MV, “Nee kue…khon sei jai (นี่คือ..คนเสียใจ)” from her latest album “Woman Story”. You can watch the video at YOUTUBE.

I think Tee is someone to keep an eye on, he might be a big star, you never know. He has the look, lets just hope he can act.

Sakul Ka Opening ceremony.

The lakorn “Sakul Ka” from Exact productions had its opening ceremony today, it stars newcomer Vill Wannaros from “Gaew Lom Phet” and singer Mos Patiparn as pra’nangs.

The synopsis from Kate666 at Sarnworld:

… Sakul Ka comes from a novel by Bussayamas (who wrote Neung Nai Soung, Saluk Jit, etc). And from my research, Sakul Ka had made big screen once ages ago, played by Mit Chaibancha & Petchara Chaowarat! (The famous couple of over 30 years ago).

From what I guess from the teaser. It’s kinda like Daddy Long Legs in some way. Pra-ek should be Nang-ek’s benefactor (Nang-ek called Pra-ek “Khun Poo Pok Krong” which is like a benefactor). His rich family can never accept the marriages with low-societied women so he tried to stop his nephew from loving the nang-ek. But then, he, himself, fell in love with Nang-ek. laugh.gif

And at the beginning of the teaser, you’ve known that our Nang-ek is actually not a low-so but her mother got expelled from a rich family during pregnancy and apparently she was just a servant of that family. The old woman said “the heir of swan’s family must not be born from a crow”. (Ka = crow , Swan = Hong , Thai uses ‘ka’ as opposite to ‘hong’ to define low and high-social family.)

More info about the synopsis here.

Opening Ceremony on Youtube.

What the hell, during the opening ceremony, Vill was asked about the incident where she was seen walking out of Son (Yuk)’s condo.

Vill:“No, No, I don’t even know where he lives. I have never met him in other places except on set. Umm…Also, we’re not seeing each other. We are just friends.”

—-They have been friends for years and she doesn’t know where he lives? Just saying, someone might be lying though I don’t think they are dating.

Mos was asked about Tao Somchai’s latest scandal where he beat up that old dude at the Dumpling Noodle Soup Shop. The reporters asked Mos whether he had talked to Tao about the incident.

Mos’s answer:“I have not talked to him because I don’t even know what he is doing right now. However, I’m very concern. When you read the news, some people might get the wrong idea of him. I don’t want people to think of him in that way. Like I said, if he needs my help, he can always call me. We’re still friends and I’m still concern about him.”

Aerin, better actress than Vill?

I’m a little surprise by this, actress Aerin Siripon is gaining more recognition for her nang’rai role in “Gaew Lom Phet” than Vill Wannaros, the nang’ek of the lakorn.

Vill doesn’t think too much of it and wants to focus on doing her best.

” Regarding this issue, I don’t think much of it. Aerin has entered the entertainment business much earlier than me and knows more people. We are friends and friends should support each other. Aerin is a very sweet girl, really! Every character is significant, equivalent to each other. Regarding this issue, it relates to the talents of each person more so than how well you want to play it. As for Aerin, she plays it well, she has a lot of talent. Her character has more depth and requires more acting. As for my character she does not get a lot of scene time compared to Aerin’s but Aerin plays her character successfully and I don’t find it strange that people love her performance, even I enjoy it. “ Vill told reporters.

Reporter:“But aren’t the network elders trying to promote you?”

“You should call it giving an opportunity more so than to promote. My friends in my same level are given opportunities just like me. Khun Boy Takolkait Weerawan wants us to try and play different characters to find out who is more suitable for a specific character. As for myself, I know I don’t fit the well-mannered character. When I watch it, I don’t recognize myself, I don’t know why. However, the elders have asked me to play this well-mannered role because they want me to practice and see how far I can go with it.”
Vill explained.

Though I like Vill more so than Aerin, I would have to agree that Aerin’s character has more depth than Vill’s. Vill’s Namphet character is somewhat bland. At the being she was feisty and argumentative, now she only exist to hold hands with Win, played by Yuk Songpaisan. That’s nice and all but I wish her character was more developed.

I would also have to agree with this comment at the Sanook forum regarding this news.

“She is very cute (referring to Vill), I don’t think that is the case, I think she is better. Nang’rai speaks weirdly, it’s not clear. When she is angry, it’s not pretty.”

—Aerin does speak oddly. Her Thai sounds weird, though she is speaking perfect Thai.

Gaew Lom Phet: Ep 28 Caps

Yesterday’s episode. I know, I’m totally behind on Gaew Lom Phet.

I saw some of the caps for today’s episode, I don’t think I’m going to like it. No Nam and Win scenes.
