Boy Pakorn is the most huggable guy for Sudsapda magazine

Top: Kao, Ter, Nadech, and Pong. Bottom: Pope, Boy, Dome, and Mark

By popular vote for Sudsapda magazine at their website and facebook account, the ranking of the 20 most huggable Thai guys of 2011. ‘Roi Marn (Trace of the Devil)’ star Boy Pakorn is ranked number 1 and ‘Ter’ Chantavit Dhanasevi came in last. I would agree, Boy did give one of the best hug and confession scene in  lakorn history in Roi Marn episode 13. It’s one of those scenes, you’ll remember for a long time.

He knocks on her door, she opens it terrified, not knowing who was there. On the other end, it’s him with a drained, exhausted face. He slowly walks towards her and wrapped his arm around her body.

‘I have something to tell you,’ he says. ‘Before we get a divorce tomorrow.’ He takes a pause. ‘I think…I think I am secretly in love with you. I don’t want it to be like this. I don’t want to get a divorce, but I don’t know what to do.”

He tears up quietly and so does she. Next big whopper question, ‘can I say with you tonight?’ AH.

‘Please don’t chase me away.’

She embraces him back  tighter and they wept in each others’ arms. Their relationship was twisted by family debt and obligations. Their marriage was a force one and her cousin was a jealousy B. From the beginning it was not meant to be easy.

Son gets a new leading lady in Mo Monchanok

I’m liking the cast, Son Songpaison pairing up with newcomer  ‘Mo’ Monchanok Saengchaipiangpen from the teen  flick “Love Julinsee” for the upcoming CH5 lakorn ‘Likhit Fah Chata Din (Fated Heaven, Fortune, and Earth)’–not really sure of the translation. The lakorn will be directed by Pa-oon Chantornsiri (Nether Mind, Taddao Bussaya, and The Garland of 3 Men) for Exact.

For the lakorn, the male cast, Son Songpaison and pop singer Pirat “Mike” Nitipaisalkul were chosen first before the script was written. They served as inspiration for the script said director Pa-oon Chantornsiri: ‘I want to tell you frankly, I saw the actors first. Soon after, the plot was written. After that, we called both actors for an audition. I will reveal, I was speechless. They acted better than I expected, I was stunned, especially with Mike, who is very talented.’

The plot centers around Son and Mike’s characters who are related (cousins, brothers? not sure yet) and how they compete with each other for love.

Tono will betray Son in the “Houseboat”

It’s drama-filled. Three long time amigos and one girl, 3 for 1, it would be a good deal if it was like 3 bags of chips for $1, but we’re talking about relationship between people here. That is not a good ratio. In “Reuan Pae (The Houseboat)”, nang’ek “Ek” Butsakorn Tantiphana  has to chose between 3 close friends who are renting her father’s houseboat. The guys are:

1. ‘Tono’ Pakin Kumvilaisak, as Kaew, the unruly boxer.
2. Son Songpaisan, as Chen, the honest police officer.
3. ‘Gun’ Napat Injaiuea, as Rin, the mellow aspiring singer.

She likes Kaew but Kaew is not up to her father’s standards, he’s an uneducated boxer with no future. Chen seems more promising than both Kaew and Rin, he’s educated and will be a police officer with a stable income. Her father would only allow Chen to pursue and date her. Because they love Chen, Kaew and Rin make way for him to pursue the woman they both love. No hard feelings. They can’t get the girl, they direct their efforts to other things such as pursuing their dreams. Kaew applies to enter a boxing camp, Rin finds a job at a radio station.

Just as things are going well, Chen has to leave for the police academy as part of his training to be a lieutenant . He tells Kaew to take good care of his girl Pen (Ek) when he is away. Kaew agrees but one stormy, thundering night, something happened between Kaew and Pen that will change the course of Kaew and Chen’s relationship and everyone around them. They had an affair. YAH, it sucks for Chen. He comes back from training and he finds his best friend with his girlfriend–worst friend betrayal ever.

“Reuan Pae (The Houseboat)” will air this Monday June 20, 2011 on Ch5.

For their June 2011 issue, the four leads of this lakorn are featured on the front cover of  Sudsapda magazine. Great timing, a great way to promote the series.

Best and Worst dressed at the Nataraja Awards 2011

There is a reason for this post, I wanted to mock that actress who dressed like a Christmas tree and thought she was hot. She wore this bright, BIG green dress and wore red Dorothy shoes. It was wrong in so many levels–COLOR, FORM, Style. ER! Don’t do that. Green and Red together, worst combination of colors EVER!

Epic fail Volume magazine moment!

HAHA. I can’t stop laughing. Someone screwed up and is probably gonna get fired or a major talking to for this. ha. ha.

Two guys Son “Yuk” Songpaisan and “Guy” Ratchanon Suprakorb are on the cover of Volume magazine Men August 2010 edition. Now take a closer look, do you see what is wrong? Look very carefully at the “Volume” logo. I’m sure you want to focus on other things.  Just focus on the logo for now, look at the ‘other’ things later. HAha.
